Welcome player. Reading this wiki means you've taken an interest in Necrosis and would like to know if this is the place to be.

Necrosis came about when I was filling my senses with zombie survival flicks. Movies such as 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later, Dawn of the Dead, Zombie 2, and more. I took a team of talented individuals such as Ash and Fury, and we got right to work.

A common misconception is that Necrosis is only about undead and combatting them. This couldn't be farther from the truth. My goal with Necrosis was to give a rewarding RP experience that players are used to. Such as politics, intrigue, villains, dungeons, mysteries, and of course epic stories. The undead become more of an environmental feature of the world and explains the current state of things. While there isn't a person in the game that isn't affected by the existence of this undead blight, it's not the driving force of the story within Necrosis.

I also wanted to craft a world that evolved with the players. Player decisions are the fore front of Necrosis. The world is shapeable and this gives people much more realism in their RP. They can strive for goals that are generally unattainable on most persistence worlds.

And finally I wanted to stay very true to the D&D difficulty factor. In Necrosis you won't see dragons running around everywhere or pit fiends around every corner. Some days a simple skeleton might be an epic encounter for you. This is made possible by our custom progression systems.

Necrosis is packed with customized systems, from crafting to experience gains. It's all based around the creativity of the development team, and the suggestions of the players.
